Fequently Asked Questions
Q - Of the 2 Venues for
lodging, where is the Banquet being held?
A - There will be no
banquet, per se. We have reserved a large part of one of the
restaurants in Idyllwild and we will all descend upon it and be seated
in our reserved area. Everyone will be allowed to order from the
menu and we plan on hiring a local band to play for a few hours.
This is one of the main reasons our registration fee is almost 50% less
than the last few rallies.
Q - Is there a preference
for lodging for the banquet venue?
A - The Idyllwild Inn
is closer to the restaurant. It is literally across the street.
Q - Are they short rides?
Are they long rides?
A - Distance (short or
long) is in the eye of the beholder. We have three rides planned,
one for Tuesday (105 miles), one for Wednesday (180 miles) and one for
Thursday (141 miles).
Q - What skill levels?
A – On a scale of 1 –
10 with 1 being extremely easy and 10 being extremely technical, I would
say that all three rides are 6.
Q - If my friend rides from
the east coast, where can they get a new tire, and oil change or?
A - Keep in mind that
our rally will be in the mountains and services for motorcycles are
several miles away. The following links are provided as a
reference but each individual should contact these locations and see if
they can provide the necessary service such as tire replacement or oil
changes.

Q - This is the 7th West
Rally correct?
A - Yes, I believe that
it is the 7th West Rally. I was not yet a member for
the first three rallies.
Q - It is also in the same
location as before, right?
A - Same as the 1st
rally that San Diego hosted, Idyllwild, CA.
